Montana Reverse Site Visit with NSF
The Reverse Site Visit is required in Year 2 of an RII Track-1 project. Montana is scheduled to meet with NSF On April 3, 2025.The RSV is a review/evaluation conducted by teams of external reviewers and the NSF staff.

Wildfire crisis documentary "The Fire Problem"
The University of Montana will host a special screening of “The Fire Problem,” an hourlong documentary addressing the global wildfire crisis, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12, in the University Center Theater.

Science Communication Workshop
UM researchers, faculty, and graduate students will have the opportunity for a hands-on professional development workshop aimed at building participants’ confidence and experience engaging diverse audiences with science and research. Through interactive activities and field trips to spectrUM Discovery Area and the UM Living Lab, participants will draw on their own research background to explore approaches to communicating with grant proposal reviewers, interdisciplinary academic audiences, and members of the public of all ages.
