The graduate school journey can be exciting, but an emotionally challenging and stressful time even when it's going well. On the basis of feedback we’ve received from STEM students, we are offering a skills-based workshop in “eudaimonia” or “happiness” in the Aristotelian sense of purpose and balanced orientation toward the best outcome for your life. Graduate students are invited to join Dr. John Sommers-Flanagan for a fun, interactive, and informative ~2.5-hour workshop on how to apply evidence-based happiness interventions to their lives, and help combat grad school fatigue by prioritizing happiness and well-being.
Date: March 28, 2024
Time: noon to 2:30 (mountain time)
Location: via Zoom
Preregistration is required, and the Zoom link will be sent to registrants by March 26th, 2024. MSU, UM, and Tech each hosted this workshop face-to-face last fall, and it was very much appreciated and enjoyed by the attendees. John is an exceptionally engaging and thoughtful presenter/facilitator.
