Dr. Amanda Hohner - Wildfire Implications for Drinking Water Systems

Dr. Mandi Hohner is an assistant professor of civil engineering at MSU and the CBE. Her research is focused on the characterization of source water quality and physicochemical drinking water treatment processes. Within this area, she evaluates the effects of extreme events and climatic disturbances on watersheds and drinking water system resiliency. Her work aims to inform decision making, source water protection strategies, and climate preparedness among municipal water providers. Her CBE seminar will focus on drinking water and wildfires.
