Education & Workforce Development

Education and Workforce Development are foundational to Montana NSF EPSCoR’s mission to strengthen the state’s research capacity while preparing a skilled and resilient workforce. Through integrated programs that connect K–12 students, undergraduate and graduate learners, educators, and community partners, EPSCoR creates opportunities for hands-on research, mentorship, and career exploration in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. These efforts emphasize real-world challenges relevant to Montana, helping participants build practical skills, advance educational pathways, and support a diverse pipeline of professionals equipped to contribute to the state’s economy and environmental stewardship.
